Join my chaotic, fun, sometimes stressful but very blessed life as a military wife and mom of two kiddos! My son, Jake, is 11 and just entered middle school. Talk about an adventure in itself!!! My daughter, Haley, is 7 and is doing great in 2nd grade. She's also a complete Daddy's Girl!! It doesn't hurt my feelings or anything....I only gave birth to her and it wasn't even a tiny bit painful! ;)
I love all things chevron (in case you can't tell by my blog name--ha!) and am obsessed with scarves. I decompress by restoring furniture and crafting my little heart out. Hobby Lobby and Craigslist are my best friends! We get along really well!
I love shopping and finding great deals! Let's just admit it, we're not exactly rolling in money living the military life but that doesn't mean it has to be boring! I can't wait to share the deals I find with you!!
I also enjoy cooking, baking and trying new recipes! If your life is anything like mine, your kids insist on having the same thing for dinner at least three times per week! Let's swap recipes and make each other's lives easier!
Military life can be very hard but I'm learning to just trust God even though sometimes I want to cry, stress out, pull my hair out, worry to death, scream and drink lots of wine! Well...I still drink wine (Moscato to be exact) and I also do some of the things I just mentioned....but we'll just keep that on the down low! haha!
